My entrepreneurial spirit and foundation in digital marketing began with being a content creator myself. Passionate about all things surrounding Internet culture and social media algorithms, I was able to take my own awareness of influencer trends to grow and legitimize my own platform.

This venture has provided me with valuable insights into crafting compelling content, in addition to the unique perspective of influencer marketing from the influencer’s perspective. I have worked with over 50 different brands, both in-house and agency partners. Collaborating on these cross-functional campaigns has given me experience and insight into influencer marketing and digital campaigns.

As the Senior Marketing Manager at Zoomie, a start-up app all about animals, I have managed the marketing team and overseen comprehensive marketing initiatives that have resulted in increased brand visibility, engagement, and conversion rates. My expertise in leveraging social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, has played a pivotal role in cultivating a strong online presence for Zoomie. I take pride in my role leading our influencer marketing efforts, fostering meaningful relationships with creators, and strategically aligning our campaigns with the brand's mission. In this role, I am the driving force behind all our marketing efforts and oversee our marketing team’s execution of push notifications, email campaigns, organic social media campaigns, paid media ads, user-generated content, and influencer marketing partnerships based on audience insights and platform analytics to inform best practices. 


In my previous role as Content Marketing Manager at Zoomie, I successfully grew our social media accounts by over 100k followers on TikTok and 200k followers on Instagram. My hands-on experience with content creation and influencer management has allowed me to develop a keen eye for trends and a creative approach to engaging content that resonates with audiences.

I also have experience being a strategist and consultant for various small businesses, social media personalities, and celebrity clientele, including managing digital campaigns and in-person pop-ups surrounding book launches or product launches.


This includes conducting comprehensive social media audits, data reporting and analytics to formulate targeted strategies to Increase engagement, personalized content calendar management and publishing, and executing social media content creation from ideation to execution. 


One notable client was Rachel Lindsay: the first Black bachelorette, correspondent for Extra TV, author, podcaster, and media personality.

I also previously managed a personal blog and social media presence for the education field, Magical Ms. Murphy. This blog supported engaging education strategies and supported other educators in promoting literacy among students. This also led to opportunities where I spoke at several statewide and nationwide conferences. 

My background as an English Language Arts teacher also has many transferable skills. Not only is my experience in copywriting, creative writing, and attention to detail pivotal in a marketing role, but teaching has also honed my communication, community-building, and leadership skills as well. This experience has translated seamlessly into my ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and communicate effectively with colleagues and partners.
